Hudson River Park Annual Gala

Every fall, Hudson River Park’s most loyal supporters come together at their annual gala for one unifying purpose: to keep the Park beautiful, safe, clean, green, and growing.

Starting in 2013, JWP joined forces with Hudson River Park Friends to help secure the continued growth and future of one of New York City’s greatest treasures, Hudson River Park.

Past supporters and participants include Michelle Collins, Questlove, Mavis Staples, Kevin Bacon, Michael Bloomberg, David Chang, Claire Danes, Diane von Furstenberg, Hugh Jackman, Padma Lakshmi, Denis Leary, Jay Leno, Lucy Liu, Seth Meyers, Bette Midler, Julianne Moore, Kelly Ripa, Susan Sarandon, Brooke Shields, Mike Myers, and Kyra Sedgwick.

Hudson River Park UnGala

In 2020, we reimagined the Annual Gala and created a fun microsite where guests were able to mix a cocktail with Martha Stewart, visit the auction, share their photographs and watch the program while using the chat interface. We hosted four zoom rooms for a Cocktail hour and one big afterparty.

The evening’s celebration brought together prominent Park supporters — including David Broza, David Chang, Andy Cohen, Lea DeLaria, Charlotte Groeneveld-Van Haren, Jenna Bush Hager, Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul, Julianne Moore, Martha Stewart, and more. The UnGala raised over $1 Million to help the park continue to thrive and grow.

Hudson River Park’s Spring Fling

Celebrated the revitalization of downtown Manhattan and the impactful role Brookfield Place played in that process. Spring Fling was a highly multifaceted evening of cocktails, fashion, world-renowned entertainment, and unique culinary experiences. The event featured a special performance by Janelle Monáe and music by The Misshapes in the newly renovated winter garden.
